Advocacy and Legislation
Advocacy and Legislative efforts continue through support of the CAFAP legislative group. For parents interested in becoming more involved legislatively or interested in being contacted to testify on future bills raised, please contact info@cafap.com.
Education and Training
This committee reviews proposals for statewide conferences and trainings. Proposals may be submitted to the Network in c/o the UConn Health Center Adoption Assistance Program.

Support Group Development
A sub-committee of the Education and Training committee was established to address the wish by the adoption community for more support groups for adoptive families. Information

School Advocacy
This committee was established to meet the overwhelming wish of Network members to address the learning needs of school aged children. The committee seeks the input of educators and adoptive parents to identify how we may partner with schools in supporting adopted children in school.
