The Adoption Assistance Program provides post adoption support, including assessment, education, brief counseling and referral services to adoptive families and to those formed through guardianship. The program is housed at UConn Health in Farmington and serves all of Connecticut. Services are offered at no cost. If the family is referred to an outside resource or service, the cost may be offset by their insurance.
